If I had to pick a place to make photographs, it would absolutely be in the neighborhoods of South East Portland, where I live. The people who live here value nature, cultivate wildly beautiful gardens, and adorn their houses with lovely details and character. So, when Liz and Keegan suggested a May evening neighborhood stroll for their engagement photos, I knew immediately that we would get along and that our interests would align. The flowers were in full bloom, the local house cats were roaming the sidewalks, the light softly cascading through the thick canopy of trees. And then there was Liz and Keegan: perfectly, adorably, visibly in love.
Later this summer, these two will have an intimate ceremony on top of a cliff in the Gorge, and then they'll party hard with their friends, whom I know will be as fun and likeable as they are. I can't wait to play a part in it.
